With the current awareness and news regarding outbreak of the corona virus in scotland, the Club are being proactive in trying to reduce any risks. Guidance has also been issued by SFA.
Going forward:
We don’t do handshakes. Older teams should be ok with this, younger teams may want to still line up and applaud as they pass each other. Approach should be agreed with opposition manager before games.
We should stop providing team water bottles. Players should bring their own. Where we do have water, it may be individually allocated but definitely no sharing.
Key to above is communication. All managers to take lead. All parents to be advised, and players as soon as possible.
Obviously the Club aren’t in control of what happens away from training/match days but club are trying to apply due care when players are under our supervision.
